Website rescue
Tired of paying for a site nobody is looking after?
Poor performance, small edits costing hundreds, plugins years out of date and support that never answers. I take the site over and save it from a costly rebuild.
01 No rebuild
Most sites can be saved. A full rebuild is the last resort, not the opening offer.
02 Migrated
Moved across end to end, without a window where your site is offline.
03 Cleaned
Out of date plugins and themes stripped back to what you actually use.
04 Handed back
Every login ends up in your name, whatever you decide to do next.
What I do
Taking a site over, step by step.
01
Take stock
I log in and go through what is actually there: speed, plugin state, security, what is broken and what is merely untidy. You get told before anything changes.
02
Clean it out
Unused and out of date plugins and themes removed, and whatever is dragging performance down dealt with. Usually this alone is most of the win.
03
Move it across
Migration handled end to end onto hosting that is genuinely maintained, with backups taken before anything moves.
04
Hand access back
Standard WordPress with every login in your name. No licence tied to my account, and no fee if you later decide to leave.

Rescue
Quoted
Scope depends on the state the site is in, so I look first and quote second. You will know what I found before you commit to anything.
- Full review of the current site
- Plugin and theme cleanup
- Performance and security pass
- Migration handled end to end
Rescue and stay
From $39 / month
Most rescues move onto managed hosting afterwards, because leaving a site unmaintained is usually what caused the problem in the first place.
- Everything in the rescue
- Weekly patching from then on
- Daily offsite backups
- Small text edits included
Questions
About the rescue.
Will I lose my content?
No. The migration moves your content across as it is, and a backup is taken before anything changes. If something did go wrong, the restore point is there and it has been tested.
What if the site cannot be saved?
I will tell you. Occasionally a rebuild genuinely works out cheaper than patching something that is too far gone, and I would rather say that up front than bill you for months of propping it up.
Do I have to move hosting?
Most people do, because unmaintained hosting is usually part of what went wrong. The cleanup is worth having either way though, and the site stays yours regardless of where it lives.
How long does it take?
Usually faster than a new build, because the content already exists. The variable is how much cleanup the site needs, which is why I look before quoting.
After the rescue
Keep it from happening again.
The cleanup fixes today. Weekly patching, backups and monitoring are what stop you being back here in two years.
